The process of raising salaries and pensions to state employees will be launched in Ukraine
The speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Groisman instructed the relevant committee to start consultations with the ministries on the possibility of indexing wages and pensions for citizens.
Groisman said that at the meeting of the conciliatory council on Monday.
Before that, a number of MPs said they had information on the overperformance of the state budget and demanded to do the indexation of salaries and pensions in this regard.
In turn, Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko confirmed that the budget was overfulfilled, however, he said, "the numbers presented by deputies are not true, because the actual numbers are much less."
In response to that, Groisman instructed to begin consultations on indexing.
"I'm officially giving order to the Budget Committee and the Committee on Social Policy to start official consultations with the relevant ministries on the possibility of indexing, to work out desicions and to inform the Parliament as to when the indexing procedure will start, under what conditions and what resources it requires" - he said.
