Students of UzhNU presented the logo of the new department with a flashmob
Recently, 4th year students of the journalism department of UzhNU during practical session on "Public relations", together with their colleagues from other departments, on the occasion of the opening the new department "Advertising and public relations" at the Philological Faculty, held a flashmob-presentation of its logo.
Students of the Philology, Dentistry, Mathematics and Social Sciences Faculties joined the event. The event took place on the square in front of the main building of the University. The participants simultaneously formed the new department logo that embodies creativity and search for ideas.
The author of the logo is a Ph.D., assistant professor of journalism Lesya Polikha.
"The main idea of the logo is variability of approaches in advertising and PR. Graphically, it is embodied in a fragment of a maze, which has many entrances and exits. Meanwhile, the blue sign has elements of motion and direction marked with an arrow. Blue in PR, incidentally, has a positive meaning, and is symbolism it means a good reputation. I really like the expression of Honore de Balzac: "To reach the goal, a person has to do only one thing. Go!". We have the great potential of young people who want to move and change the world around them. Specialty "Advertising and public relations" is for such mobile and creative people" - Lesya Polikha says.
