Spring in the style of Vivaldi (Announcement)

It's nice that the leading artists of the capital, as well as foreign guests do not bypass Uzhgorod. So, in the coming days, we are looking forward to the arrival of a bunch of talented musicians:  

On May 7, there will be the concert of the Chamber Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society (Director - Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladyslav YUROSH) with the participation of soloists: Tetyana PAVLICHUK (piano) Kyrylo SHARAPOV (violin) and Denys SEVERIN (cello). The program is refined and rich. Its basis is the brilliant works of Antonio Vivaldi - "Spring" from the series "The Seasons" and three other concerts for strings with solo instrument. And the second part of the program will include works by Tchaikovsky and F.Mendelsshon.

The concert starts at 18.30. 

Pianist Tetyana Pavlichuk and violinist Kyrylo Sharapov from Kyiv and cellist Denys Severin from Switzerland are united by long-time cooperation and participation in interesting art projects. A native of Kharkiv Denys Severin graduated from the Moscow State Conservatoire and took post-graduate studies in the class of Professor Dmitri Miller. He continued his studies at the Geneva Conservatory, the Academy of Music and Early Music Conservatory in Basel (Switzerland), as well as master courses with the best European teachers. Now our compatriot is a professor of the Higher School of Music in Geneva and the Graduate School of Arts in Bern, where he teaches cello, chamber and ancient music. He is the winner of many international competitions. He performs as a soloist with various groups.

Kyiv resident Kyrylo Sharapov graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine under the guidance of the legendary Professor Bohodar Kotorovych. He is the winner of numerous prestigious festivals and competitions. In 2011, he became a co-organizer of the unique in Ukraine professional tango orchestra "Kiev Tango Project", the repertoire of which includes popular dance songs of the traditional Argentine tango, Astor Piazzolla's virtuoso pieces and cover versions of pop, rock, jazz, folk pieces, arranged in the style of tango.

As to the third participant, it is a young (born in 1988), but experienced pianist Tetyana Pavlichuk. She was born in Lutsk, studied at the National Music Academy of Ukraine.   The talented performer also joined the quartet "Kiev Tango Project", and together with Kyrylo Sharapov forms the successful Kyiv duet "Te Deum".
