The charity race "Marathon of life" finished yesterday, June 6. Recall that the Transcarpathian runner Dmytro Dzhmil started on May 16 from Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod and finished on Khreshchatyk in Kyiv. There, near the Kyiv City State Administration building Dmytro Dzhmil received the certificate of the Book of Records of Ukraine.
During the marathon through Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Kamyanets-Podilsky and Vinnytsia, the fund raising for seriously ill children was taking place. During the race, Dmytro and the team Safeintrip visited orphanages, rehabilitation centers, etc.
In Kyiv, on June 6, 10 athletes of the "Kyiv marathon of life" joined the marathon runner. Their route ran from the Spivoche Pole to Lavrska Street – Arsenal station – the Mariinsky park – Yevropeiska Square – to Khreshchatyk.
During this campaign, the people of Kyiv raised about 1,000 UAH for the treatment of nine-month-old Denys Soroka, the Zakarpattya online informed.
