Uzhgorod deputies intend to approve the procedure for the use of funds provided in the city budget for subsidies to cover losses of the utilities. The relevant draft decision is to ensure a transparent and effective procedure for the use of funds.
According to the rules, the recipients of budget funds shall use the budget funds based on a plan, which shall be approved by the main administrator of funds. Total amount of subsidies to cover losses may not exceed the amount of losses of the financial and economic activity.
Quarterly, no later than on the 20th day of the month following the reporting quarter, the company will report on the results of financial and economic activity. The City Council will conduct analysis of the utilities’ financial and economic activity.
