For the first time - "Days of the "Den" in Uzhgorod"! (Announcement)
A series of events from the known newspaper "Den" will be held in Uzhgorod for the first time. The following events are planned:
- at 11.30 - round table with the chief editor of the "Den" Larysa Ivshyna entitled "How do we win?" - in the administration building of Uzhgorod National University (the meeting hall of the Academic Council).
- at 15.00 - opening of the exhibition "Day-2014" in the building of the Transcarpathian Art Museum named after J. Bokshay at Zhupanatska Sq., 3;
During the meeting, there will be the presentation of the new book "Ukraine Incognita. TOP-25", published in Ukrainian, Russian and English, which is a continuation of the series" Library of the "Den" newspaper", and other publications in this series.
"Days of the "Den" will be held in Uzhgorod for the first time - at the invitation of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and Uzhgorod National University.
The exhibition features approximately 160 photographs from among the winners of the XVI International photo competition of the "Den" newspaper. They were selected from among more than 2 thousand photographs sent from all over Ukraine by both professional photographers and amateurs in nominations "Events", "Personalities", "Ukrainian World", "Life As We Know It," "World Through the Eyes of Children" and in a separate category from the international UNDP organization "Building a new country together."
As always, exhibitions of the "Den" are a chronicle of the life of Ukraine in the past year. And for all of us, it was "a concentrate of challenges and trials..."
Of course, many of the photographs are dedicated to the main events of the past year - the Revolution of Dignity and the war in the east.
Traditionally, all exhibition visitors will serve as the jury by giving their votes for the most interesting, in their opinion, photographs. On the closing day of the exhibition, based on the results of the voting, the winner of the People's Choice title in Uzhgorod will be announced.
Pictures can be bought in the office of the "Den".
The exhibition will run from 14 to 31 of May, 2015.
