Five Asians were detained “on the way to EU”

In the course of actions to combat illegal migration, border guards of the department "Velyky Berezny" detained another "seekers of happiness."

The information about the presence of unknown persons in the border area was received by border guards in advance. As a result of the measures taken, five people, including one child, who identified themselves as Iranian nationals, were stopped on the outskirts of the district center, one and a half kilometers from the border with Slovakia. When asked about the purpose of their stay in the border area, the "travelers" answered that they intended to get to one of the EU countries seeking better living conditions.

The offenders were taken to the border unit to ascertain the circumstances of the offense and draw up administrative and procedural documents. Their further fate will be determined by the court.
