Dykobraz comes to Uzhgorod (Announcement)
"Victoria Dykobraz comes to Uzhgorod with the first collection of her texts. Uzhgorod, you remember how well and professionally this girl reads her poems, don't you?
And there will also be an interesting conversation with the poet and an opportinuty to buy the book :) Uzhgorod, do not miss! :)" - the moderator of the event Olga Betsa in social networks.
Victoria Dykobraz is the head of Rivne NGO Literature.RV, organizer of numerous literary and art projects, poet, author of the collection of poems "The semantics of our decorations," which was published this spring. She has presented it in several cities. On May 10, she plans to visit Uzhgorod with the presentation.
Since she not only writes, but is also actively engaged in promotion of contemporary authors, the litcentr asked Victoria to describe Ukrainian literature, how does Victoria Dykobraz see it?
- As a hungry and untamed beautiful beast, yeah. We have plenty of unfilled niches, but few people are persistently working to fill them. It goes for literature in general - authors (of various levels), and agents (who are very few), and publishers. There are some good developments in the promotion of books, in approaches to publications of works in certain areas, in building contact between the author and the reader in general. There are writers that touch upon new themes, work on "other" levels, in fresh genres. There is a progress. Perhaps "our literature" will never become special for the world, even with one name, but it will be enough for us.
