A new international border crossing point will be opened in Transcarpathia
A new checkpoint will be built on the border between Ukraine and Romania. The necessity of the project is caused by heavy traffic load at the international checkpoint "Dyakove-Halmeu."
As part of the project for the construction of the bridge across the Tisa river, which will connect the settlements of Bila Tserkva (Ukraine) and Sighetu Marmatiei (Romania), a meeting between the representatives of the Romanian and Ukrainian parties took place in Rakhiv district.
The delegation from Romania headed by the prefect of the Maramures region Anton Rohian, representatives of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Rakhiv District State Administration, the Road Service in Transcarpathian region, the land management service and the management of Bila Tserkva village council held a number of priority researches at the site of the future construction and discussed the scope of work needed to incorporate the bridge into the network of national roads.
The head of the land management service in Rakhiv district Yuriy Dzyadiv provided the meeting participants with comprehensive information about the land, which the construction is planned on, and the relevant cartographic materials.
