Vasyl Hubal to relatives of the deceased: "The country will owe you forever..."
During a working visit to Irshava district, on Wednesday, June 17, the head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal met with family members of the soldiers killed in the ATO. Mrs. Lyubov Danilchenko, Martha Sokolachko lost sons in the undeclared war, and Olga Korol - husband and father of her three children.
The head of the region first expressed his condolences and assured that he shared the pain of all Transcarpathians who have lost their loved ones. The very first question that Vasyl Hubal asked the women was whether local governments pay due attention to the families, whether all their requests had been granted. The mothers and the widow had no complaints, however, Lyubov Danilchenko said that the family has not received state allowance, and the other two families have the same problem. The head of the RSA said that he would appeal to the Ministry of Defence and ordered the military commissar of the region Oleg Vinnytsky to keep the matter under his control.
Then, he offered the women other forms of support - such as the provision of leisure and recreation for children. As it turned out, one of Olga Korol's daughters already has a voucher to Odessa, and for the other two, the head of the Regional State Administration instructed to provide the opportunity to go to a camp. And the wife and mothers of the killed soldiers should decide which sanatorium they need to have rehabilitation at, and it will be organized.
Then they discussed the problems of housing. To participate in the program for improvement of housing conditions provided by the state, the families have to be on the housing list. It is especially relevant for Mrs. Korol because she lives at her relatives'. The head of the Regional State Administration instructed the chairman of Irshava district council Ivan Savko to register the families in the housing list.
Then head the region told the women: "Do not hesitate to talk about anything, to raise all the problems. You lost you loved ones, the country will owe you forever and you should feel all possible support and care. And the task of both central and regional and local authorities is to ensure that. And, of course, accept our condolences and words of respect and gratitude...", - Vasyl Hubal said.
