Rugby is a game not for the faint of heart. This sports, which branched off of football, is popular throughout the world, especially in the British Commonwealth. In certain countries and regions, it is sport number one. Those are New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Wales, the south of France.
Strong girls from Uzhgorod Rugby Club "Korzo", or to be precise students of UzhNU representing Transcarpathia in the championship of Ukraine, this time showed their skills once again.
In Ternopil region, there was the Women’s Rugby-7 Championship of Western Ukraine, where our team defeated teams of Khmelnytsky (48:0) and Ternopil (51:0) regions, and in the final Uzhgorod team defeated the team of Kremenets (38:0).
