Ukraine has resumed gas imports from Hungary
On Thursday, imports of gas from Hungary to Ukraine were resumed.
This was reported by the press service of the "Ukrtransgaz" JSC.
As noted, during the first day, 2.8 million cubic meters of gas was supplied in this direction.
"Currently, natural gas is imported from Europe through Slovakia and Hungary. The largest volume of natural gas comes from Slovakia - 27 million cubic meters daily," - the statement says.
According to the latest data, as of June 5, since the beginning of the year, 5.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas has been imported to Ukraine from Europe, which is 42% more than that from Russia.
It was reported that as of June 5, 10.5 billion cubic meters of fuel is stored in Ukrainian storage facilities, which is 28% more than before the injection season.
