Two minor delinguents face up to 6 years in prison for car-jacking and theft

The prosecutors of the city of Mukachevo forwarded to the court the indictment against two minor residents of Mukachevo, who are suspected of committing criminal offenses under Part 3 of Art.185, Part 1 of Art.289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely theft of a property committed by prior conspiracy coupled with breaking and entering, and unlawful seizure of a vehicle.

Recall that late night on February 26, 2015, two minors, by prior agreement, entered a garage and secretly stole from there the property totaling over 31,000 UAH.
In addition, the boys saw a car "Chevrolet Lacetti" in the garage, used the keys that were in the ignition lock, started this car and left the scene, thus illegally seizing the vehicle.

According to Part1 of Art.289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, they face up to 5 years of imprisonment, and according to Part 3 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – up to 6 years of imprisonment.
