The sixth wave of mobilization has started in Transcarpathia

On Thursday, June 25, in the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, there was the briefing of the Acting Military Commissar of the Regional Military Commissariat, Colonel Oleg Vinnytsky. He told about the results of the fifth wave of mobilization in the region and the tasks for the sixth wave.

According to the officer, during the 5th wave of mobilization which lasted from April 10 to June 18, military commissariats of the region dispatched about 400 persons for military service. "The target was more than 800 persons, about 2100 persons received calls, over 1700 people reported to military commissariats, over 1200 Transcarpathians passed military medical commission, of whom 500 were found fit, while the rest were found unfit or sent for further medical examination", - the military commissar reported and stated that the target of the 5th wave of mobilize in the region was fulfilled at 44%.

According to him, one the main reasons for failure to fulfill the task of the mobilization is a large number of those evading their constitutional duty.   Also, a high amount of men unfit for military service for medical reasons. Many countrymen refuse to accept calls or leave to work abroad.

"The main task of the sixth wave of the mobilization is to ensure complete rotation of soldiers called up during the third wave of mobilization and maintenance of a high level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - the colonel said. - During this wave of mobilization, Transcarpathian region should send about 1,100 conscripts including over 100 officers to the Armed Forces and other military units of Ukraine."

Particular attention during the sixth wave of mobilization is focused on cooperation of military commissariats with local authorities and law enforcement agencies. To promptly resolve the issues during the mobilization, the cooperation of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat and each district and city military commissariat with prosecutors and law enforcement agencies has been established.
