"Tazik" is back at the front! (PHOTOS)
In the winter, Mukachevo wing of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers (better known as "Mukachevo junta"), collecting funds at various events and with the help of patrons, bought a jeep "Nissan" for the needs of our Transcarpathian soldiers from the 128th Brigade on the front. The car received a call sign - "Tazik." The car was courageously performing tasks on the front, she was in Debaltseve, saved many lives, was very seriously damaged, but survived...
Recently, "Tazik" has been repaired and came back to the front.
This was reported on her page on facebook by Natalia Zotova.
"Remember our jeep "Nissan"? She is back in the ATO area! Our fragile Lyudmyla Bandurchak volunteered to deliver the car. I must admit that none of us even tried to dissuade her. The trip and stay in the camp of the 128th brigade took a week. Now, when Lyudmila is at home, we can report," - Natalia writes.
She says, "So we bought this jeep in late January for the money raised at charity concerts, fairs and other events. Together with minor repairs it cost us more than four thousand euros. In early February, the car went to the ATO area. She was in Debaltseve, saved many lives, was very seriously damaged, but still survived and even became a star on one of the TV channels. Without windows and lights, beaten by bullets and shrapnel, the war vehicle even managed to come to Mukachevo on her own. Instead of headlights, she had tactical flashlights fixed with tape.
We decided to repair this SUV, and in March brought her to the "Nissan" dealer in Mukachevo. The invoice of 53,687 UAH stunned us a bit. At that time, we had only 26,500 UAH. We paid the advance and agreed to pay the balance after the repair. But they did not charge us a single penny! So we sincerely thank the "Nissan" dealer. We decided not to repair or paint the body. Marks of war is clearly visible ...The repairmen collected several bags of bullets casings and shell fragments."
"Now, the jeep will serve in one of the units of the 128th brigade. Those, whose lives she saved, recognized her. The callsign of the jeep remains the same. She is still Tazik" - the volunteer sums up.
God speed you, Tazik! Come back home.
