Slovakia will keep the volume of reverse gas supplies to Ukraine.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico in a telephone conversation with the President Petro Poroshenko, the press service of the President informed.
"The parties coordinated positions on key issues of bilateral relations. The leaders of Ukraine and Slovakia discussed a wide range of issues of economic cooperation, including the energy component and aspects of the transit of natural gas. Slovak Prime Minister confirmed his country's intention to maintain the volume of reverse gas supplies to Ukraine," - it is said in the statement.
Poroshenko said that Fico had confirmed that Slovakia would continue to support the unity of the European Union on the issue of sanctions against Russia.
As you know, on March 1, Slovakia increased reverse gas supplies to Ukraine.
