Poroshenko signed the law on condominimums, which destroys the monopoly of housing offices

The President Poroshenko signed the law number 1565 which destroys the monopoly of housing offices and allows residents of apartment buildings to manage their common property.

This was written on his page on Facebook by the Speaker Volodymyr Groisman.

According to him, the law will come into force on July 1.

"Thus, the residents of apartment buildings will be able to manage their own houses, choose service providers and dismiss them in case of poor service provision" - Groisman says.

In addition, the Parliament Speaker said that this was another European law that separates us from the Soviet planning system and entitles owners themselves to organize and take responsibility for their living condition.

Recall that on May 14, the Parliament passed the law that destroys the monopoly housing offices and allows residents of apartment buildings to manage common their property. 

256 deputies voted for the bill №1565.
