On implementation of joint investment projects with the Czech Vysočina

The leadership of the Regional Council controls the implementation of joint investment projects with the Czech Vysočina in the social sector of Transcarpathia

Today, June 25, the Chairman of the Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko and his first deputy Mykhailo Popovich held a working meeting with commissioners and contractors of the joint investment projects with the Czech Vysočina in the social sector of Transcarpathia. According to current information, as of June 24, 2015, out of 20 projects implemented in the framework of cooperation with the Vysočina region, the work are being carried out at 14.

However, the implementation of some projects is delayed.

For a number of projects, there are financial issues in connection with the adjustment of prices, rising prices for construction materials and so on.

Therefore, the Chairman of the Regional Council listened carefully to all the commissioners and contractors for each facility to find out the problems and identify the challenges that must be solved for the timely and successful completion of the projects. Because, all projects for replacement of windows in schools and kindergarten must be be completed by September 1, and all other projects - by October 1.

He expressed his comments and suggestions, agreed on the tasks for the responsible persons and stressed the importance to meet all deadlines.

Volodymyr Chubirko asked to speed up the inspection of individual facilities and projects with a view to complete all planned activities under the program of cooperation with the Vysočina for 2015 by the end of September. This will ensure the further development of such cooperation, which now also involves the Pardubice Region.

Next month, the working group of the Regional Council will inspect the project implementation on the ground.
