June 22 is the Day of mourning and commemorating of war victims

June 22, 2015 is the Day of mourning and commemorating of war victims in Ukraine, established by the Decree of the President Ukraine dd. November 17, 2000 №1245.

To commemorate the victims fallen in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the following events will take place in Transcarpathian region:

- Lowering of the National Flag of Ukraine with black ribbons on the buildings of state authorities, state enterprises, institutions and organizations.

- commemorative events dedicated to the Day of mourning and commemorating of war victims in Ukraine, including the laying of wreaths and flowers at the monument to the victims fallen in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, memorials and war graves.

- at 10 o'clock, a moment of silence honoring the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
