In Uzhgorod, an attacker, who threatened a gas station worker with a knife, was detained red-handed
In Uzhgorod, a 23-year-old local resident was threatening a gas station operator with physical violence. The police promptly arrived to help the gas station worker.
Around one o'clock at night, a young man came to the gas station on Mynaiska street and for no reason began to behave aggressively towards the worker of the gas station. The woman said that the young man was using foul language, threatened her with physical harm, and later - to break the front door.
- I pressed the alarm button, because I was pretty scared. The guy was holding an object resembling a knife, - the gas station employee said.
After receiving information about triggering of the alarm button, the police officers arrived at the scene within minutes. The hooligan was still in the territory of the gas station, so he was arrested red-handed.
Officers of the investigative team of the police were also called at the gas station, and they seized at the scene an object resembling a penknife.
To further clarify the circumstances of the incident and to make an appropriate procedural decision, the detained man was taken to Uzhgorod city police station. Currently, the investigation into the matter continues.
