Film festival “Open Night” – in Uzhgorod! (Announcement)

On the night of 27 to 28 of June, a unique festival of contemporary Ukrainian short films "Open Night.Take 18" will be held in Uzhgorod.
"Open Night" is the festival that aims to find new Ukrainian names in the field of cinema and television production. 

The festival aims to unite creative young people from across the country. 

For 18 years in a row, cinema lovers have been meeting in late June to enjoy a new, Ukrainian cinema. 

The audience from over thirty Ukrainian cities, as well as Europe and Canada can simultaneously watch the festival films!

"We talk a lot about supporting domestic producers, but always watch either Hollywood films, or, God forbid, Russian TV shows. Come and see Ukrainian films! The more people are interested in the national cinema, the better it will develop, guaranteed," – one of the organizers of the festival in the regional center Anton Shturmarevych says.

At the opening of the festival in Uzhgorod, there will be the performance of the group "The Orange Room".
