Cabinet has lifted restrictions on the purchase of housing for military

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine lifted the restrictions for the Ministry of Defence to purchase housing for military personnel in the secondary market.

This is stated in the government resolution №404 of June 17, the "UNIAN" writes.

"On June 17, the Cabinet adopted the resolution "On amendments to paragraph 8 of the Regulations for the use of funds provided in the state budget for the construction (purchase) of housing for military servicemen and commanders," - the statement reads.

By this document, the government abolished the rule that expenditures for housing on the secondary market for the Defense Ministry should not exceed 20% of total expenditures provided for the Ministry for the construction (purchase) of housing for military personnel of the Armed Forces for the year.

In addition, the report notes that previously, only fifth part of the funds provided by the state budget for housing construction was allowed to be used for the purchase of housing for soldiers.
