On the International Children's Day, border guards of the Chop detachment organized an unusual meeting for representatives of one of the boarding schools in Uzhgorod district.
25 students of Chaslivtsi boarding school aged 6 to 16 visited the "Green Berets" who are deployed in the regional center of Transcarpathia. Border guards had visited the said institution with charitable purpose before, and invited the children to visit themselves for the first time. Border guards welcomed young visitors for whom they had made an exhibition of auto- and motor vehicles, weapons, special devices and optical devices and told how they are used in the protection of the state border.
Students were delighted, as they were free to get acquainted with all technical devices. Also border guards demonstrated their young friends a show of the dog that "likes" to look for weapons and explosives. Of course, the dog did not tarnish the honor of green beret - the gun was found and the work of the inspector and his faithful friend was rewarded with loud applause. At the end of the tour, the children were treated with a "soldier's lunch" and received sweet gifts.
