Today, in Uzhgorod, another squad of Transcarpathian police officers departed to the ATO zone in Donetsk region to replace their comrades on combat posts.
The management of the region and the MIA office, friends, colleagues and families came to send the police officers to a long and dangerous journey. The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko and the Head of the Miniatry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, Colonel Serhiy Sharanych addressed the law enforcement officers with parting words.
"We thank you for your courage. For protecting our peace, our country. And the regional authorities will continue to assist participants of the ATO. We have adopted a program at the Regional Council session for this purpose" – Volodymyr Chubirko said.
Father Ivan, who had repeatedly visited the ATO area as a military chaplain and had even been wounded there, blessed the squad of police officers.
The police officers hit the road to the music of the police orchestra.
