A Transcarpathian left a hinged boat engine at the customs post "Tisa"

A Ukrainian tried to cross the state border at the customs office "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs office by a car "KIA". During oral questioning, he denied carrying any goods in the amount of subject to customs payments and statutory prohibitions or restrictions on import into the customs territory of Ukraine.

However, during the customs control of the Ukrainian's car and effects, in the luggage compartment of the vehicle, customs officers found a used hinged boat internal combustion engine with spark ignition "Mercury" with a total weight of 59.3 kg, produced in Belgium. Access to the detected goods was not obstructed.

Note that under Part 4 of Art. 374 Customs Code of Ukraine, goods (excluding excisable) being imported by citizens in carry-on baggage and / or luggage, the total invoice value of which exceeds the limits set by Part 1 of this article and the total weight of 50 kg, shall be subject to written declaration in the manner prescribed for the citizens with submission of documents issued by public authorities for customs control and clearance of such goods.

Thus, the citizen violated the procedure for moving goods through the simplified customs control lane - "green corridor": he was carrying goods that thransportation of which across the customs border of Ukraine is restricted by law, and their amount exceeds the untaxed norm of carrying goods across the border.

These actions have signs of violation of customs rules under Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The reporte on violation of customs rules was drawn up, and the goods being the direct objects of violation of customs regulations were seized.
