Viktor Baloha's statement about "state farms"
"All Ukraine is dotted with state farms. For those who do not know, it is a form of management, where the state is the owner of the land and all the property. As a result of this form of activity, for example, in Transcarpathia, vineyards are overgrown with forests" - deputy of Ukraine Viktor Baloha wrote on his page on facebook page.
And he adds: "People have a desire to work on this land, to bring the vineyards in order and to offer tourists, and not only them, a quality product. The state has no desire to part with its property, but not enough efficiency to manage the fields itself.
In addition, there is some injustice - those, who worked in collective farms, received shares. Those, who worked in state farms, have not received anything. Although, all of them equally deserve their share of ownership.
We decided to correct this injustice and registered in the Verkhovna Rada a bill number 2279 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On peculiarities of property privatization in the agroindustrial complex"
This will allow to finally distribute the land of state farms to their employees. What does it mean specifically for Transcarpathia? Firstly, the land will have real owner, and secondly, people will have jobs. And thirdly, it will give impetus to the development of viticulture and agriculture.
This is true not only for Transcarpathia. So I count on the support from the colleagues from other regions of Ukraine", - the politician said.
