Uzhgorod residents, let's protect our property!

A month ago, the community of Uzhgorod held the public hearings where it was unanimously decided to set a moratorium on the disposal of the city property in 2015. Then, at the session of the City Council, Uzhgorod residents made the deputies and the mayor withdraw the issue from the agenda. Even earlier, in the spring, at the plenary session, the community saved from the carve-up the land in the protected zone of the monument of national importance "Owl's Nest."

"But, the thieves led by the so-called mayor Pogorelov still have not got it. Tomorrow at the session, they once again will try to consider the privatization of municipal property, carve-up of the land at the Owl's Nest and a number of land issues for relatives of deputies Andriyiv, Rumyantsev and others," - community activist, a member of the NGO "Public convention" Yuriy Svitlyk wrote on his page on facebook.

He adds, "The city government did not fulfill the resolution of the public hearings. The draft decision "On moratorium on disposal of property" is not included in the agenda."

"These thieves will not stop until the community makes them. Moreover, they try not to let Uzhgorod residents to the session hall so that nobody could stop them from stealing.

It's time to show the criminal Uzhgorod government what their job and responsibilities are until the election of legitimate leadership of the city.

I urge the community to forget all disagreements and misunderstandings and to be active," - Svitlyk emphasizes.

The meeting is tomorrow (July 9) on Poshtova Square at 9.40.

Glory to Ukraine!

Glory to the new Uzhgorod - without thieves and embezzlers!
