Transcarpathia tax police officer has returned from the ATO area

Officer of the special unit "Phantom", tax police major Oleksandr Tsohla has returned from the zone of the antiterrorist operation. There, together with colleagues from other regions of Ukraine, the Transcarpathian was serving at checkpoints of entry / exit from the uncontrolled territories.

The major was participating in the antiterrorist operation, protection of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the town of Kurakhovo and the village of Heorhiyivka in Donetsk region. He was serving in the East from April 17 to July 15 this year.

The unit "Phantom" is composed of volunteers, who have worked in life and health-threatening conditions, preventing the illegal flow of goods across the "border" in the east.    

Oleksandr Tsohla is reluctant to tell stories about shellings, the attitude of local residents to police officers. He believes that the work, that he was doing there, is his officer’s and civil duty, which should not be put on display.

The public organization "Union of law enforcement veterans and officers of Ukraine "Zvytyaha" gave Oleksandr Tsohla the award "For the protection of economic interests of Ukraine in the ​​ATO area."

Now, the tax police officer, will receive a deserved leave, and then return to serve in the Main Office of SFS in Transcarpathian region.
