Transcarpathia: 200 cartons of cigarettes under a layer of ore were going abroad
Yesterday, at the international railway crossing point "Pavlove" of the Transcarpathian customs office on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, during the customs control of a train transporting sintering iron ore, in one of the 46 freight cars, customs officers found 200 cartons of cigarettes.
The tobacco products were hidden at the depth of 0.7 m in one of the cars. The found foreign cigarettes "JIN LING" had no Ukrainian excise stamps. They were packaged in cardboard boxes and black plastic bags, 50 cartons in each. The total cost of the tobacco products is 20,000 UAH.
In the absence of the owner of the hidden goods and persons involved in their illicit transportation across the border, inspectors of the Transcarpathian customs office made an appropriate report and seized the cigarettes.
The train, en route from Ukraine to Slovakia, went on.
