Vasyl Patskan - the Acting. Head of Uzhgorod STI - notes that the main task of the territorial SFS bodies is to ensure planned, rhythmic and stable inflow of revenues to budgets of all levels. "Thus, thanks to the coordinated cooperation of the supervisory authority personnel and the business of Uzhgorod district, during the first half of 2015, the Consolidated budget of the district received about UAH 233.5 million of taxes. For the corresponding period in 2014, the Treasury received almost UAH 118 million. The main sources of revenues to the treasury are individual income tax which has brought to the budget about UAH 50.4 million or 21.5% of the total revenue to the Consolidated budget. There is also a large share of the rent for the use of mineral resources, the payers of which have paid to the budget more than UAH 49 million or 21% of the total revenue. The amount of revenue from value added tax is also quite significant, in January - June 2015, it amounted to about UAH 40.5 million or 17.3%.
At the same time, we note that during the first half of the year, payers of value added tax have been refunded more than UAH 28 million of VAT.
Vasyl Patskan notes that the positive trend in revenues was due to amendments to the tax legislation, as well as tax culture and voluntary payment of taxes.
