The President is not satisfied with the actions of Transcarpathian law enforcement

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of law enforcement officers in Mukachevo.

He said that during a meeting with security forces in Kryvy Rih - the correspondent of the UKRINFORM reported.

"The incident in Transcarpathia was an important indicator. We have all seen that law enforcement agencies were boldly challenged. And law enforcement system failed to take up that challenge. I can say that I am unhappy with the effectiveness of the law enforcement agencies. Even though those units, that arrived on time in Mukachevo, showed high morale and high coordination. I had to make some urgent personnel decisions," - Poroshenko said.

According to the President, the new appointments in Transcarpathia showed how much the order depends on the manager. "Now they come to work on time, do not take bribes", - Poroshenko wrote on his Twitter. "Armed bandits disappeared from the streets - the reaction will be instantaneous," - he added.

Recall that the newly appointed head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal proposed new heads of law enforcement agencies of the region. And the president accepted his suggestion. Thus, the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathia will be headed by Oleg Voyevodin, Colonel, born in 1976; the MIA office - Colonel Serhiy Knyazev from Donetsk region.
