The armed thug, whom the Ministry of Internal Affairs called their officer, was identified by Mukachevo residents as MP Lanyo's man (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
It refers to the young man, who on July 11 was captured on photo and video by journalists of the Radio Svoboda and Reuters carrying arms and ammunition near the police officers at the mobile post in Mukachevo near the epicenter of the conflict.
The Interior Ministry spokesman Artem Shevchenko said that he was a police officer: - I want to clarify: the persons with arms, but in civilian clothes, who were shown on the video of the Radio Svoboda and Reuters, are police officers, who had been called urgently and had not had time to change into uniforms, - Mukachevo.net.
But locals say that it is not true. Mukachevo residents identified the man on the video as a native of the village of Kolchino, who now lives in Mukachevo. His name is Mykola, and he is a man of People's Deputy Mykhailo Lanyo.
Mukachevo police officers anonymously confirmed that he was not a policeman, adding that the young man was with his own weapon - hunting semiautomatic rifle Saiga. The rifle is probably registered for the public organization of hunters.
