Thanks to the prosecutors, rights of disabled spouses were restored
Svalyava District Prosecutor's Office, in order to protect the interests of citizens, entered into a civil case in the interests of an elderly person and a I group disabled in need of constant care to eliminate obstacles in exercising property rights, eviction and removal from the register.
Back in 2009, a man born in 1928, a I group disabled signed a deed of gift with a family from Svalyava district, according to which the old people transferred ¾ share of their house with the understanding that they are to be looked after. However, the unscrupulous Transcarpathians would not fulfill their obligations, and later evicted defenseless old couple from their house.
The prosecutor's office defended the rights of the disabled pensioners in court, and upon the consideration of the said civil case, Svalyava district court made a decision that the plaintiff's claim is to be upheld in full.
Thus, prosecutors defended the rights of the disabled spouses, and the unscrupulous caretakers are to be evicted from the house.
