Pupils of Uzhgorod music school brought 19 prizes and the Grand Prix from Bulgaria (PHOTOS)
In Uzhgorod Press Club, there was a press conference of the pupils of Uzhgorod music school № 1 and their teachers.
Students brought 19 prizes and the Grand Prix from the XVI International children's art competition "Sun-Joy-Beauty", held from 15 to 20 of June, 2015 in the city of Nessebar (Bulgaria). Students of the school Daniela Yakobchuk, Angelina Trushevska, Oleksandr Stulishenko, Eric Forkosh, Yulia Kononenko, Vitaliy Homovych, Daria Lesiv and their teachers Maria Mudraninets and Tetyana Tishchenko told about their participation in the competition and other similar events and plans for the future.
"It was not the first time we take part in the competition of this level. Our ensemble has participated in about 30 Ukrainian and international competitions. This year's competition in Nessebar was the 17th. Three years ago we already participated in it, showed good results, but this time we had prepared better, chosen the repertoire and did very well," - the music school teacher Maria Mudraninets says.
"There were contestants from Germany, Poland, Georgia, Great Britain, Russia. The competition was quite strong, but we had been preparing for a long time, were set to win and wanted to prove ourselves," - a contestant Oleksander Shtibel says.
The students were competing in three categories: folk, pop and academic singing.
