One soldier does make a battle! A Transcarpathian brought awards from Lviv (PHOTOS)

We have a saying: "One soldier does not make a battle." It accurately describes many events that take place in our world. Indeed, one cannot do much without help. But every rule has exceptions. This situation is one them.

From 10 to 12 July, the bicycle orienteering championship of Ukraine tool place in Lviv. For a number of reasons, Transcarpathia was represented by only one athlete - Master of Sports of Ukraine Oleksandr Kasyanov.

21-year-old resident of Mukachevo won silver medals in all three categories of the championship program, second only to the leader of the national team 29-year-old Artem Stryzhak from Kyiv. Bronze winners were: in the middle distance - Renat Khasanshyn from Kharkiv, in the marathon distance - Yevhen Tsyren, in short distance - Yuriy Rasko (both from Kyiv).

Thanks to Oleksandr's medals, Transcarpathian took the honorable third place in the team event. The team of Kharkiv region won the first place, the team of Kyiv won the second place.
