In 2014, the MoD bought summer clothes for troops from mediators at almost four times higher price than that of the manufacturers.
This was informed by journalist Kateryna Kapliuk on her page on Facebook.
According to the journalist, the Ministry of Defense signed contracts for the supply of summer field clothing with the company "Olteks", but as it turned out later, the company itself is not engaged in clothes making.
"In fact, military uniforms were manufactured by other entities at the price of 70-130 UAH per uniform," - Kapliuk says.
In addition, according to her, the fabric for making of military uniforms was bought from the "Cherkassy Silk Works" JSC at 25 UAH per meter (1 uniform takes up to 5 meters of the fabric).
"However, the Ministry of Defense would buy the uniform at 462-594.48 UAH per set", - the court decision states.
Also, it is reported that the company would transfer the money under dubious contracts to other companies.
"Traces led to a company with an account in the "Radical" bank - and the court granted the Chief Military Prosecution Office temporary access to bank documents," - the journalist says.
According to Kapliuk, on July 15, the Ministry of Internal allegedly seized almost all documents from the main office of the bank.
