In Uzhgorod, counterfeit tobacco products were found in a railway car (PHOTOS)
In Uzhgorod, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine found a railway car loaded with counterfeit tobacco products estimated to cost 60,000 dollars.
During the inspection of the train at the railway station of the city, they found 40 pallets with more than 150,000 packs of tobacco products without excise stamps.
The goods were cleared by the Sumy customs office as "pressed fuel" to be exported by a private firm to one of the European countries.
Investigators of the Security Service together with their colleagues from the State Financial Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings for a crime under Art. 204 (illegal manufacture, possession, sale or transportation with intent to sell of excisable goods) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
