Business of Transcarpathia paid over 777 million hryvnia to local budgets
In January-June 2015, the local budget received UAH 777.9 million of taxes and charges which is UAH 151.4 million over that in the same period last year.This was reported by the coordinating and monitoring department of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region.
According to tax officers, the lion's share of these revenues accounts for income tax - UAH 40,8 million. In addition, there is an increase in single tax - UAH 91.2 million, which is UAH 14.8 million more than the revenues in 2014, land fee - UAH 59.9 million, which is UAH 19.4 million more than that in the last year.
Also, local budgets received excise tax for the sale of excisable goods by retail entities in amount UAH 138.4 million.
Note that the total revenues to the local budgets increased thanks to changes to the Budget and Tax Codes of Ukraine, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in December 2014. These changes are the largest step in recent years towards fiscal decentralization. In particular, they provided for the introduction of the excise tax for the sale of excisable goods through the retail trade network, broadening of the base of taxation on real property other than land, the introduction of taxation of luxury cars and so on.
