15 million hryvnia for the purchase of housing for the families of fallen Transcarparthian soldiers

Transcarpathian region will receive 15 million hryvnia for housing for the families of fallen soldiers and I and II group disabled soldiers who took part in the ATO.

The Law of Ukraine "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2015" provides for subvention from the state budget to local budgets for construction (purchase) of housing for the families of fallen soldiers who took part in the anti-terrorist operation and for I and II group disabled soldiers who participated in this operation and need better housing conditions for 2015, in total amount of UAH 300.0 million, including UAH 15,2 million - for Transcarpathian region.

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 20, 2015№ 348 "On Approval of the Procedure and conditions for granting subvention from the state budget to local budgets for construction (purchase) of housing for the families of fallen soldiers who took part in the anti-terrorist operation and for I and II group disabled soldiers who participated in this operation and need better housing conditions", the specified subvention shall be used to purchase housing in the primary and the secondary market for the families of fallen soldiers and for I and II group disabled soldiers.

The Department of Finance of the Regional State Administration has developed a draft order of the head of the RSA on the distribution of the subvention funds between district and city budgets and, according to the budget legislation, the specified distribution of the subvention has been submitted for approval by the Standing Budget Committee of the Regional Council the meeting of which is to take place on July 22, 2015.
