Shields, body armor, helmets and other items - "witnesses" from the Maidan, as well as many photographs of the events of the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv and in our region were exhibited in the lobby of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration which was opened on Friday, February 20 to honor the Heaven's Hundred.

The items that carry the memory of the Maidan were provided by activists of the Revolution of Dignity, representatives of political and public organizations, who participated in these events, as well as dozens of photographs that show people and moments of those days through the eyes of photographers.

At the opening ceremony, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal first of all announced a minute of silence to honor the Heroes of the Heaven's Hundred and those Heroes who now give their lives in the undeclared war for the freedom of Ukraine. Then, the head of the region said: "I bow my head before all Transcarpathians who participated in the Revolution of Dignity. I know that there were a lot of them, and their role was significant. Many of them are now fighting for Ukraine in the East as volunteers. I say the words of respect for the living and gratitude - for the dead. We are all responsible to them. And we must prove by our actions that we continue their struggle for the building of the state, which we will be proud of. Glory to Ukraine and the glory to its heroes."

The Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko stressed that the goals of the Revolution can not be considered achieved, and all of us have to be the "second front" in our regions, in our cities and villages - to build a strong, prosperous and fair nation.

The exhibition to commemorate the participants of the Revolution of Dignity, the memory of the Heaven's Hundred will last in the lobby of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration for about two weeks.
