Uzhgorod will be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras for half a million hryvnia
The program of implementation of surveillance system in Uzhgorod in 2015 for 602,000 UAH was approved today during the session of Uzhgorod City Council.
By this program, the Executive Committee of the City Council provides for the allocation of 602,000 UAH from the city budget for the purchase of equipment (cameras, surveillance server, etc.) in order to "create the conditions and necessary platform to improve safety and public order in public places, parking lots and landscaping facilities in Uzhgorod".
"These surveillance systems can be accessed by law enforcement agencies and all interested parties that may initiate installation of video cameras connected to the system near their businesses, organizations, trade facilities, car parkings and other crowded places," - the decision adopted at the session states.
