The bill on the police will be ready by spring - the Minister
By the end of February, comprehensive changes will be presented
The new draft law on Ukrainian police will be ready by the end of February. This was stated by the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Eka Zguladze.
"When will the law on police be ready? We have an approximate (date - Ed.) - by the end of this month (February - ed.)" - Zguladze said at the meeting of the Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement on Wednesday.
The First Deputy Minister noted that it is difficult to say how long the reform of the bodies of Internal Affairs of Ukraine would last. "We want to do a lot this year: to change the structure, to change the procedures of hiring personnel", - Zguladze said.
She also noted that by the end of February more comprehensive changes would be presented that would be proposed to make to the legislation to reform the police.
Earlier Zguladze reported that almost 4 thousand Ukrainians had already submitted applications for participation in the competition for patrol police training.
