See what we can do!

Uzhgorod KVN team "Tyap-lyap" has returned from Odessa, where our "funny and smartest" took part in the first festival of the Humor Championship of Ukraine "League of laughter." Our team performed in their fans' favorite image of Fredie Mercury, even sewed new costumes specially for the festival. The boys showed themselves well and passed to the second round, though with a somewhat abbreviated version of the program. But they failed to win the right to participate in the gala concert and the television season of the new comedy program. The team has made the right conclusions and plans to work and develop in a new format so that the following year Transcarpathian fans will finally see their team on TV.

But what is the "League of laughter"? This how the television KVN is now called in Ukraine. The show under this title will be broadcast on the "1 + 1" channel. The rebranding of the Ukrainian "club of funny and smart people" was done not by random people. The process is managed by the former CEO of the AMiK Association Naum Barulya and the former chief editor of the KVN Premier League Andriy Chyvurin with the support of "Studio 95 Kvartal." The host of the new show will be Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the organizers, the game will have new and well-forgotten old contests, each round will take place in another city, and only two teams will play in the final. The first round will be held in Odessa, the second - in Dnipropetrovsk, the semifinal - in Kyiv, and the final - in Lviv. In total, 9 shows on TV are planned for this season, the first one will be held on February 28.

The first festival of the "League of laughter" was held in Odessa from January 30 to February 6.
