In Uzhgorod, the family of a fallen hero will receive a house

Today, the Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko met with Yulia Martin, whose husband was killed last year near Shchastya, while protecting our homeland. 23-year-old resident of Uzhgorod Serhiy Martin, driver of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade died on June 17, defending his homeland from foreign terrorist gangs and their cronies.

Yulia is raising her daughter alone. She says she still has not received any housing or land. Last year, she received 100,000 UAH from the regional budget. The Chairman of the Regional Council took care of the family, tries to help them. He initiated a meeting of Yulia Martin with the Mayor, during which they discussed the allocation of a service house to her, because currently she rents an apartment. It was agreed that soon she would receive a house, and they plan to allocate funds for its repair. Also, the family will receive the land.

"So far the government has not allocated funds for housing for the families of the killed Transcarpathian Heroes. But we keep writing and will appeal to Kyiv to address this problem. All our efforts will be aimed to support the families who lost their men in the ATO area. This issue is on a daily control", - Volodymyr Chubirko said.
