In Uzhgorod schools quarantine ends on Monday
Today, at the meeting of the commission on epidemiological situation in Uzhgorod, the majority voted to end the quarantine in secondary schools of the city.
However, the SES argued that there is a need to extend the quarantine for another 2 days because in order to reduce the epidemiological situation in schools quarantine should last a minimum of 14 days. Most members of the commission voted to end the quarantine on Sunday - February 15.
Also, the department of education emphasized that the curriculum would have to be continued in emergency mode, preparations to testing have started, so those two days mean a lot to teachers.
The chief physician of the City Children's Hospital Igor Roshko reported on the improvement of incidence rate among children. He said that in the last few weeks, the number of sick schoolchildren decreased, but there is still high incidence rate among children of 2 to 4 years old.
