In Uzhgorod children of IDPs and participants of the ATO were "drawing future" together (PHOTO)
On February 4, 2015, in the framework of the initiative "Building a Common Future Together", a children's event "Draw the future" took place.
The event began in an interactive establishment "Plastilin" where from 14:00 to 17:00, there was a master class in painting on wood for children of internally displaced persons and children of combatants aged 3 to 12 years. After the master class, the children had a tour of the Transcarpathian academic puppet theater "Bavka", professional animators showed the children puppets. At the end, students of Uzhgorod art school organized a recital for the children, during which the children had the opportunity to learn the culture of the Transcarpathian region. Among the performers, there were children of immigrants from the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions who already take part in various creative activities.
"This event was a perfect example of consolidation for the common victory. Children are our future, therefore we have strive to the understanding and cooperation, regardless of what part of Ukraine we are we, Western, Central or, Eastern and overcoming imposed stereotypes, for the sake a happy future of our children." -the head of the NGO "Transcarpathian community" Boris Kondratiuk commented.
