In Khust district, entrepreneurs wanted to feed schoolchildren with forged documents

The prosecutors sent to Khust inter-district court the indictments against entrepreneurs, who forged documents to participate in biddings for the procurement of food in schools.

According to Khust interdistrict prosecutor Serhiy Zovdun, the criminal proceedings were initiated by the prosecution office on February 14. Today, their investigation was completed. 

Two businessmen, who wanted to win the tender, but did not have qualified personnel resorted to forgery. As part of the bids, they submitted certificates of the availability of material and technical resources and suitably qualified staff.

Forgery is punishable by a fine in amount of fifty tax-free minimum incomes, arrest for up to six months or imprisonment for up to two years, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region informs.
