"Have you become a "priest"?"
Sectarians are trying to convince Transcarpathians to become their "priests" for 3,000 UAH to evade the army.
Local councils of Transcarpathia received a peculiar letter from the "Slavic-Vedic Temple of Ancestral Heritage" (website: www.vedavat.com.ua). This "church" is, to say the least, little known, and they ask monetary contribution for becoming their "priests"...
"At the beginning of the letter, there is the infographics on "Who is not subject to the fourth wave of mobilization", and then - good news that the Temple has opened the gates for all who want to serve, as I understand, the Ancestors and is ready to accept those wishing to become priests.
For this, you just need to send an application, copy of a passport, diploma of higher education (but not mandatory) and, of course, a copy of the payment receipt for 3000 UAH. And, voila! You are a father, priest, shaman, druid or whatever they have there! And no need to hide abroad!" - journalist Andriy Hanusych wrote on his page on facebook.
Obviously, such a proposition and its authors should become the subject of examination by relevant authorities.
By the way, to our knowledge, the "Temple" comes from Zaporizhzhya.
