Harry Houdini will be put on the rails too
Uzhgorod mini-sculptures have many advantages, including the fact that tourists and visitors encounter them by accident. Also, the bronze sculptures by Mykhailo Kolodko reveal the history of Transcarpathia.
The little sculptures situated on the railing of Uzhgorod embankments and in some places in Uzhgorod have gained popularity among tourists.
Those are the sculptures of Franz Liszt, Jon Lord, Mozart, the Good Soldier Schweik, Ivan Croton's knot, and the sculpture of one of the founders of pop art - Andy Warhol.
The "Svobodka" stands out among them as the symbol of Uzhgorod regatta, it was the second sculpture to be installed on the railing near the pedestrian bridge. And they could not ignore the world-famous magician Harry Houdini, whose relatives for a long time lived in the the village of Storozhnytsia. Another mini-sculpture will be opened in Uzhgorod in the spring.
In the meantime, as we reported, the sculptor is working on creating a unique guide map of Uzhgorod mini-sculptures.
