2644 IDPs are living in Transcarpathia

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine continues the sad statistics of IDPs from the occupied territories of the country. Thus, according to the organization, as of February 2, 978,482 people has left their homes in the Donbas and Crimea.

The number of IDPs, who have chosen to move to Transcarpathian region, is 2644 people. They have faced many problems, but volunteers and philanthropists are helping them adapt to changes, the portal Vsemisto.info reported.

Naturally, the bulk of internally displaced persons are residents of the areas where fighting takes place and areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that are controlled by militants. In particular, during the conflict, according to official figures, 334,618 people have left Donetsk region, 111,977 – Luhansk region.
